Engineered for Safety
Yale is renowned for offering safe lift trucks which are flexible and adaptable for many different tasks and applications. The ability to make and design models for improved safety comes from the new technology that is available in the company's experience and the material handling business.
Yale likes to integrate new technology that is available into their newest designs. Some of the new technologies which are available are first applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through durability testing and functionality. The company performs various controlled field tests and reliability development so as to ensure their products are very safe.
In order to improve overall safety, Yale has designed and developed many new features, that have been integrated on many models such as:
Operator Compartment Controls and Ergonomics
The operator compartment has been engineered with ergonomics in mind, utilizing state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to guarantee that the operator avoids heavy repetitive motions and exhaustion. These added comforts help to increase overall productivity.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Having adjustable operator's controls and compartments allows the necessary controls to be able to be positioned near a wide range of operators. This helps make the machinery user friendly, regardless of who is using it. Before beginning their shift, the operator could make certain he or she is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
Yale's hydraulic system operation called the Operator Presence System prevents the operation of the machine if the operator is not in the right operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on trucks which have IC engines.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The liquid propane gas tank has a drop down design which brings it out from the center of the vehicle to the operator's natural handling position that makes it way easier to change.
