Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more accurate placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer a large variety of optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you accomplish your needs, whilst being efficient and safe at the worksite. When both precision and accuracy are really vital, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, many attachments have been designed and developed like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more precisely. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures in order to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New attachments and products are being engineered and made all the time and will be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. For example, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory would compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
