Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklift models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck offering versatility and great height. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the operator to maintain a high degree of control while raising the load to great heights. Standard lift trucks aren't able to move the load towards and away from the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually utilized in construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is required.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are better in cases needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It comes with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specially to raise staff. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a chain or strap that is to be secured directly to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
