Genie telescopic S-booms have a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Compared with different other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a a range of horizontal reach that is much greater. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access tight places during industrial and construction jobs. They are also recognized for their ability to maneuver through a job site quickly and with great traction and drive speed. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and could stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators. 360° continuous rotating turntables offer operators easy, quick positioning.
The Z-135/70 unit comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, which is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This unit can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs that were previously inaccessible by traditional jibs. The Z-80/60 unit's secondary reverse-articulating boom gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This feature enables up and over reaching jobs to be done with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System made by Genie allows for time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms platform needs to either be lifted or lowered without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be fully elevated at the same time. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features reduces the time required for users to descend and ascend, increasing both productivity and efficiency.
