Carelift Zoom Boom Kansas

Carelift Zoom Boom Kansas

CareLift Equipment has been engineering and making quality rough terrain forklifts ever since 1962. Each day the company strives to help all their consumers reach their objectives and deliver value since they know the bottom line is performance and reliability.

There are 2 general types of boom lifts. These units are straight boom lifts and articulated boom lifts. Normally, these units are hydraulically powered. Most commonly straight booms are the great option for tasks which need a high reach with no obstructions. The turntable on the equipment is capable of rotating 360 degrees with an extendable boom. This extendable boom is able to be raised vertically to below horizontal. As the operator could steer and maneuver the vehicle whilst the boom is completely extended, it is a really versatile machine. These units come in 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive, as well as gas, diesel or propane configurations.

The articulated boom lifts are utilized for jobs which need to reach up and over obstacles so as to gain access. These specialized lifts are used for jobs which are not easily completed by straight telescopic booms. These lifts are almost like the straight boom lift in most aspects except in the boom's ability to articulate. There are different articulation points on the boom in order to enable it to bend in a range of different directions allowing it to move easily around any objects in the work environment.

In order to maintain stability while the boom lift is fully extended, some heavy-duty boom lifts come outfitted with outriggers. The outriggers provide the operator with some extra safety and confidence. Correct training is necessary prior to using boom lifts in order to ensure the jobsite, the operator and everyone working in the vicinity stays safe.

The boom lift allows for jobs needing lots of man hours to be done in much less time. These machines have greatly increased production and have changed the material handling business.
