Narrow aisle forklifts function by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the width of the aisle. Yale features the double reach NDR and the single reach NR units for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks made by Yale use best-in-class ergonomics and offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has various stance and control handle configurations.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To be able to meet a wider range of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations such as the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: This technology provides powerful deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been designed for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of loads moved in a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the mast rigidity and durability; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, and the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: Yale provides industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds greatly enhance the overall throughput and production.
Regenerative Lowering: While regenerative lowering could lessen battery changes per shift it also works to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: To greatly reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the technician could adjust the steer effort in order to decrease operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: The very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks are also referred to as order pickers. These machines are made for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the load and the operator to its required height. This height could be over 30 feet. Similar with most turret trucks they are generally guided by wire or rail when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
